The Management of Afrilink is committed to the health and safety of its employees and that of all who participate in executing our projects. Protection of all from injury or occupational diseases is a major continuing objective.

Afrilink is committed to continuing improvement toward an accident-free workplace through effective administration, education, and training.

Philosophy

  • The well-being of our company and clients is dependent on the health and safety of our workforce. Our operations management and safety officers are committed to ensure every precaution reasonable in all circumstances is taken for the protection of all workers. This practice is measured constantly and forms part of officers KPI’s

  • Each and every aspect of our activities on site is regarded as a priority and can never be overtaken by any activity, including production In short nothing is urgent than safety consideration. The welfare of the individual is our greatest concern.

  • All supervisors, employees and subcontractors are taught through numerous Health and Safety trainings and communications to protect their own and fellow workers’ health and safety by working in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, all applicable regulations, safe work practices & procedures established by our company.

We recognize that a safe work environment can be established and sustained only through a united effort by all employees and subcontractors and that the assistance of each person is required.

Our attitude and cooperation in promoting accident prevention will assist in achieving our goal: “no one gets hurt”

Environment Management

  • Afrilink strive to ensure construction of its projects has minimum impact on the environment.

  • We conduct a hazard analysis and take the necessary corrective actions by eliminate or reduce hazard where possible.

  • Where a construction activity with a detrimental impact on the environment is discovered, Afrilink always informs the relevant departments to ensure appropriate mitigation and or restoration of areas affected by construction to prevent long-term environmental degradation.

  • Afrilink has excellent reporting systems which are implemented during construction to ensure effective reporting to relevant departments on the deviations identified and action taken.

Quality Management

  • The company have a Quality Management System that covers planning, performance monitoring, analysis and evaluation, also covered is Internal Audits, Management Reviews and Non-conformity & Corrective Action.

  • The quality system applies to all activities conducted by Afrilink and its subcontractors.

Financials: Proper resourcing. Provide our project teams with the resources needed to operate on behalf of the customer at the highest level of efficiency and performance while maintaining an elevated level of quality and safety.

Strategic Resources: We will make full use of our human, financial and technical resources to achieve the performance objectives of each contract.

We will communicate often, professionally, and effectively and we will be fair and competitive in pricing and strive to provide customers with the best value on every project.

We will continue to provide a high level of assistance to our client after handover and during defects liability period.
